Written on board: "Titus County, Texas. 34-119. / Bottle with neck missing, from Russell Bros. farm, 4 mi. Southwest of Cason. / The vessel is decorated with an interesting variant of the typical sun symbol. The design is frequently met with in the Sabine and Sulphur river sub-cultures. / Height 3 1/4"; diameter (top) 1 1/2". / The cross has a swastika effect. / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Anthropological Department, University of Texas."
