Object Description Written on board: "See neg 5769 thru 5836 / (verso) White Dog Cave / This enormous cavern, over one hundred feet in height, lies in very broken country west of the "Monuments." Its overhanging roof kept out all rain, and as no moisture ever reached its sandy floor, everything buried in it has been preserved from decay for over three thousand years."
