Object Description Written on board: "Hopi. / Arizona. / Chief Ke-Vahe-Mah-Shungopovy. Hopi. Arizona. Aug. 27 '39. "This man is father of Marie Leon Kee-va-ma, little Hopi girl with "squash blossoms. Note his mouth and hers, direct inheritance. This chief would pose with his hair down, a great concession, but would not remove shirt as both were part of ceremonial dance, 1939. The finest primitive mouth I ever drew.""
