Object Description
Watercolor of four Hopi kachinas wearing multi-colored feathered headdresses and white clothes with red, green, and black trim. Kachina on far left is a full figured Angakachina (Long Hair) in profile holding a cradle doll, a rattle, and small pine boughs. In the center are two Talavai (Morning) kachinas wearing green case masks with tubular red mouths, green pine bough ruffs, and white capes with red and black trim. They hold bells in their right hands and pine trees in their left. Kachina on far right is a Corn Kachina wearing a white mask and rain sash and holding a basketry plaque and a kachina in his right hand and a rattle and a lightening stick in his left. Brown wooden frame.
