Ten mudhead kachinas of fossilized ivory mounted on ivory serpent

Object Description
Ten identical elongated mudhead kachinas of fossilized ivory mounted in a row on the back of a serpent of fossilized antler. Each mudhead has bumps for eyes, mouth, and ears plus an additional on top of the head. Their arms are carved but attached to their sides. Kachinas wear black cloth kilts and have ruffs of the same around their necks. The serpent's head has a tongue, teeth, eyes, a horn in the center of forehead, and an ivory ruff. Serpent also has ruff of black and white cloth. Signed on the bottom "Jimmy Boone, Zuni."
