Algonquian, [Pottawatomie]; Photostat of drawing by Henry Hamilton - original in the Widener Library - Date probably from capture of Detroit, or thereabouts - Ms. Eug. 508.5. Waniachlou, a chief of Powkouaties (Probably Pottowatomie, as Hamilton was in their country). This resembles strongly Waweeaughton, a chief of the Poucouattamie nation."
