Object Description Written on board: "Michigan. / Iroquois, Huron. / Photostat of drawing by Henry Hamilton - original in the Widener Library. Date probably from capture of Detroit, or thereabouts. Ms.Eng. 508.5; I have forgotten the name of this Indian, who was one of the characters always to be found among the Indians. He travels from village to village, being provided with news, generally to suit his own views. They are termed bad birds, or birds of ill omen as their reports [there the waiting is bad]"
