Object Description
Stone carving - man hooking fish. The colour of the stone is black-grey. Consists of man, fish, sack and base. The man is reclining on his knees, with arms extended forward. Man wears hooded upper garment, trousers, boots and gloves. There are thick incisions in the stone to mark wrinkles in the clothing. The top of the man's head is raised to depict hair. The eyes are marked by two deep slits. The mouth is marked by a deep slit, with the lips raised. The nose is clearly defined by a protruding bulge, at the bottom of which the nostrils are marked by two deep holes in the stone. Facial hair is marked by scratches on the stone, above the upper lip, the chin and forehead. Wrinkles on the brow are marked by scratches as well. The head is oblong.
