Object Description
Stone carving - two men having skinned polar bear and made pack sack of hide. The two men stand one in front of the other, with the sack between them. They wear a hooded garment, trousers, boots and gloves. The front man has proper left arm down at his side, and proper right arm holding the upper strap of the sack against his head. The proper left hand has a wide hole for inserting stick or string. The man at the back holds the sack in both hands, with proper left hand below the sack, and proper right hand against its top. The mens' stance is identical, with feet wide apart and knees slightly bent. Wide incisions in the clothing mark wrinkles. The eyes are marked by eliptical incisions.
