Object Description
Model war canoe, crescent-shaped, of wood slats with resinous material on interior where they meet; exterior painted black with red and white details; pattern on prows made from cut out pieces of mother-of-pearl; prows hung with ladder-shapes formed of plant fiber-wrapped wood, decorated with white shells, white feathers, and red cloth; carved and painted prow figure at waterline has mother-of-pearl ear spools and eyes, chin resting on thumbs of clasped hands; carved figures at crescent ends

Model war canoe, shell inlay decorating fore and aft, strings of white and red feather and ratan attached to fore above carved face, string of shell and ratan attached to aft.
