Sioux pipe. Elaborately decorated wood stem. Plaited quillwork wrapped around half of stem at mouth end. Red ground w/ designs in yellow, purple, blue and white. At each end of plaiting bird feathers are attached w/ string wrapped around them. Catlinite bowl w/ beveled prow. 76.3x8.6 cm.
