Sioux decorated pipe. Wood stem rectangular in cross section. 1/3rd of stem, at mouth end, wrapped w/ plaited quillwork. Geometric designs in white, yellow, blue & purple w/ red ground. At each end of plaiting are feathers & red ribbons tied to stem. Catlinite bowl. Inverted T-shape. 81.6x8.4 cm.
