Plains pipe, possibly Sioux. Flat wood stem. Mouth end wrapped w/ copper wire. Horsehair attached w/ sinew toward center of wire. Hand or claw and caterpillar(?) carved in high relief on top. Brass tacks along edges. Ribbon tied around center. Catlinite bowl. Beveled prow. 89.2x11.8 cm.
