Sioux pipe. Elaborately decorated wood stem. Mouth end wrapped w/ plaited quillwork. Red background w/ white, yellow(?) and blue designs of triangles and lines. Dyed red horsehair tied on w/ yellow ribbon at center of quills. Catlinite bowl w/ beveled prow. 114.2x9.2 cm.
