Object Description
Professional narrated film about the Cro-Magnan cave paintings in SW France, imagines what in 1940s two boys playing discovered in a cave. All but first few minutes of film consists of footage of paintings with occasional silhouette of figure walking through the cave paired with narration which describes and attempts to explain the images. Style of narration has tone of marvel and nostalgia, is unscientific and full of unsubstantiated conjectures. color, sound, 22 min.
