Object Description Begins with Cotlow's commission by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to go on an expedition to study the Eskimo way of life in the northernmost peopled location. Film shows Eskimos in their way of life, scenes of seal hunting, children playing, caring for the sick, relocation of camps, and interaction with the government outpost in the area. Follows life of an Eskimo community, attention to individuals, identified by name.
