Written on board: "Mexico / (State of Vera Cruz) / 5. Idol a goddess, white yellow granitic stone / good work, very nice. 3 feet high. / 6. Idol tezontle stone like no 3 looks very old / & imperfect - ht. 20 inches. / 7. A granitic are of doubtful use, some historians as / Prescott & others say this implement was to / fix the neck of the prisoners in the sacrificial table. / 8. Dog? Tezontle stone seems to be of the same epoch / of no. 3. very old. 15 in. long / 9. Rabbit (?) used to signify month of this name in Aztec year."
