Object Description Written on board: "Colorado / Ecuador / San Miguel / (L) 3 raftsmen with a "balsa" (50 legs of balsa-wood from the district of Porto de Ila on the way to the coast. Rio Palanque also called rio Balsa, as people say. Behind the raft a canoe may be seen. [sic]. Foto taken by Dr. Juan Lestrel."
