Object Description
Hemis Katsina (Home Going Katsina) carved from cottonwood root painted with natural pigment paint with feather (fragements of) attached. The hemis is wearing a full mask and tablita with a stick shaped like lightening attached by a brass nail on the back. The tablita is shaped like a cloud painted green, red, black, yellow, and white. The body of the Hemis is painted white with red stripes.
