Display Title Doll of a woman dressed in a beaded leather skirt & poncho w/ fringe

Object Description Woman doll clothed in deerskin costume, heavily fringed and beaded. A panel of geometric beadwork covers the front and back of the blouse. Three horizontal bands of blue/white beadwork are attached by "lazy stitch" between three rows of tin tinklers held by thongs. Two stick legs covered in deerskin protrude at the bottom between a dress of striped plain-weave cotton cloth. The head is wrapped in sinew and has a beaded ornament at the back. Two strands of beads hang at the sides of the head.
