Southern Arapaho dance shield catalogued as belonging to a medicine man. Round piece of rawhide attached to hoop of wood w/ thongs. Symbolic designs painted in yellow, green, blue and orange. Wide strip of red cloth attached around top edge. Feathers attached all along cloth. 122.3x40.6 cm.
