Display Title Oval coiled basket with diamond motif
Descriptions
Object Description Oval coiled basket with slightly flaring sides. Foundation is sumac or willow stems, designs are of tree yucca, and rim design is of martynia pod. Natural background with main design consisting of four units that each have two purple vertical lines of three interconnected triangles between which are two stepped purple diamonds with yellow interiors. Rim is finished in regular stitch but overcast with black to produce "X"s.
