Object Description
Large coiled bowl of cattail reed with flaring sides; almost an open weave. Natural willow background with designs of martynia pod. Large brown bottom with design on sides consisting of seven hooked frets. Rim is finished in a regular stitch in alternating brown and natural. Made from bundles of cattail reeds, sewn with willow and martynia pod. Residue corn meal inside so basket possibly used.
