Object Description
Coiled circular open weave tray of cattail reed with slightly flaring sides. Natural willow background with designs of martynia pod. Design consists of brown bottom with four hooked designs radiating outward, which interlock with four hooks coming inward from rim. Rim is finished in slant stitch with martynia pod. Made from bundles of cattail reeds, sewn with willow and martynia pod.
