Descriptions
Object Description Coiled oval bowl of cattail reed with straight sides and lipped lid. Natural willow background with designs of brown martynia pod. Design on sides consists of an encircling dark brown line in the center with terraced triangles extending downward and upward above the line in reddish brown outlined in dark brown. Design on the top consists of a turtle with a light brown shell outlined in dark brown with head, feet, and tail. Rim is finished in slant stitch with martynia pod. Made from bundles of cattail reeds, sewn with willow and martynia pod.
