Object Description
Bag; upper half 1-1 plainweave white cotton; lower tapestry of multiple warps. Design: red grid w/rectnagles divided on diagonal into dark brown and yellow, or white halves. Rim looped w/thick camelid braid. At lower corners large elaborate tassels (30 cm.), with tubular wrapped tops, large knobs with red or purple camelid fringe ending in tufts of white camelid hair. Warp: white cotton, (z-2s), 28 epcm. Weft: white cotton, (z-pairs), 10 ppcm.; camelid, (z-2s), 32 epcm.
