Object Description
Border; three cloth widths seamed together, each plainweave brown cotton with slit tapestry border with tab fringe. Border has row of birds: pink, yellow, blue, brown, on magenta ground. Above and below birds are modified step-fet bands, pink and magenta, flanked by bands of weft-faced plainweave. Across bottom, yellow tab fringe. One warp, five weft selvages. Warp: brown cotton, (z-2s), 16 epcm. Weft: brown cotton, (z-2s), 10 epcm.; camelid, (z-2s), 25 epcm.
