Object Description
One woven shirt with blue, red and green square designs and fringes: Poncho; rows of blocks woven in interlocked tap w/smaller blocks added to 2 sides on gold background. Cntr block has bird des.in complementary weft floatweave, red, green, dark blue, white camelid. Slit in center woven in discont. warps; very worn; edges roughly overcast w/red camelid (z-2s). 4 sides overcast same. 2 panels sewn together. Lower edge each side trimmed w/separt woven red camelid fringe; short length of each fringe at shoulder fold. Joining seam has needlework des of zig-zag in R, G & Gr. Wefts: camelid: z-2s, 26 epcm. Warp:br. camelid z-2s 9.5 epcm.Unusual in finishing and form
