Object Description
Tapestry fragment - Kelim; 2 debased figures (one incomplete) seperated by plain area: Fragment of slit tapestry band, depicting winged, running figure (12 cm., height) with animal(?) head; degenerated Tiahuanaco style. Figure repeated in reverse after a weft-faced section, but only body intact. Slits have been coarsely stitched together, probably at later date. Two weft selvages. Warp: brown, white cotton, (s-pairs), (2s-plied, replied-z).
