Object Description
Tunic fragment of gauze; bands of 1-1 plainweave pinkish cotton, alternating with bands of simple gauze weave. Warp selvage has three heading cords of 3-replied yarns. Piece was colored with red pigment, now mostly worn off. One warp selvage. Warp: pinkish cotton, (z-2s), 20 epcm. Weft: pinkish cotton, (z-pairs); in gauze section: (z-2s).
