Object Description
Slit tapestry construction with occasional single dovetailing produces repeated stepped and geometric curl motifs. There are two wide (3.5 cm.) Horizontal stripes of weft-faced plainweave and evidence of tab fringe. Warp: brown cotton. Weft: brown cotton, purple, pink, gold camelid. Tapestry wefts carried from one segment of design to others of same color forming non-structural "floats" on working surface of cloth.
