Object Description
Border; four widths of brown cotton 1-1 plainweave. Across bottom is a border (5 cm.) with diagonal rows of birds woven with red, yellow, brown, white camleid, (z-2s) weft floats, substituted. Above and below are bands with narrow stripes of red and yellow weft-faced plainweave, warps tripled. Separately woven weft fringed band (1 cm.) in tan cotton (warp: s; weft: z-2s) sewn to edge of border band. Camelid wefts, now almost completely disintegrated, were used as supplementary wefts (patterning undiscernable) and weft fringe along one selvage. One warp, nine weft selvages.
