Object Description
Band; slit tapestry groups of three warps woven separately with selvage to selvage wefts closing the slits at (1 cm.) intervals. Band is divided into six blocks: yellow-green, gold, dark brown, pink, magenta, each with a stylized bird in a contrasting color. One heading is cut and warps woven diagonally back into fabric. Four selvage. Warp: cotton, (2s-plied), 7 epcm. Weft: camelid, (2s-plied).
