Object Description
Band; variegated brown and white cotton warps (z spun, s-plied, z respun), woven in center with slit tapestry (6 cm.). Stepped pyramid and T-shape woven in magenta camelid on yellow camelid ground (2s-plied). At each end, three narrow bands of magenta-yellow-magenta weft-faced plainweave. Piece has remains of dark brown and white camelid wefts in unwoven areas, perhaps originally entirely woven. Four selvages.
