Descriptions
Object Description Several separately woven webs, seamed together. A strip of brown cotton 2-1 plainweave decorated with rows of gold and redbirds; flanking this are narrow strips of dark red camelid warp-faced plainweave. At either side are strips of white cotton 2-1 plainweave. Across bottom, a border of slit tapestry weave: four white birds enclosed in black diamonds, spaced across the wide border of dark red camelid. Warp runs Horizontally, thick weft fringe extends at bottom.
