Object Description
Border cut from white cotton cloth of 2-1 plainweave; bands of weft-faced plainweave, blue (s-2s), brown (z), white (z) cotton, red camelid (2s-plied). Across center, patterned band of interlocked feline faces with supplementary brown cotton weft floats. Above, below, two additional patterned bands with birds loosely woven in tapestry on open warps in groups of four (warp: s-pairs; weft: z). Border composed of four pieces (42 cm., width (each)) seamed along weft selvages. One warp, eight weft selvages.
