Object Description
Bronze fibula of Middle La Tene character. Long crossbow spring has iron core. Foot bends back to end in paddle-shaped ornament riveted to leech-shaped bow. Foot ornament decorated w/ dot-&-circle motifs; below junction the foot is set w/ flat disk w/ a vertical rod that must originally have been set w/ amber. Edge of bow has a ridge decorated w/ small oblique lines. 6 x 5.3 x 2.8 cm.
