Object Description Woolen belt - tubular weave; center stripe geometric design; colors rose-red, black & cream; long loom cords finished in round braids: Belt; band of warp-faced plainweave red camelid (z-2s, 40 epcm.) with stripe of complementary warp pattern weave red, dark brown down center. Design: elongated diamonds filled with small diamonds ending in scrolls forming symmetrical motifs between diamonds. At each end heading cords extend as round braids (30 cm., length) for ties. Four selvages. Weft: brown cotton, (z-2s), 6 epcm.
