Object Description
Slit tapestry band. Diagonal design of serrated interlocking bird forms are woven in green/yellow and magenta/yellow combinations, with contrasting outlining. Warp: white cotton, s-2z, 11 epcm. Weft: camelid, z-2s, 56 epcm. Along one edge groups of wefts form tufts of fringe at intervals. Two similar bands are stitched together at their selvages(?).
