Loincloth and knotted net
Descriptions
Object Description
Two pieces of cloth appear to be the two ends of a loincloth, with the center missing; plainweave cotton with plied warps and paired wefts. Two cords form the first two wefts at each end of the warp and extend as ties at corners. One set has been braided, the other pllied, to form sturdy ties. With this, but not attached to it, is a knotted net of dark brown hair(?) in sections. White cotton has been plied together with the hair. 24 x 38 cm. (net, rolled)
