Object Description
Strip woven hammock with blue and black bands and diamonds. The cotton cloth is made of three woven strips stitched in a running stitch with a 3 ply S handspun undyed cotton cord. Each strip is approximately 18. to 18.5 cm wide in yarns natural (undyed), and yarns dyed black, coral and blue. Structure: weft-faced plain weave with supplementary weft patterning; paired warps with tripled warps. Knotted and tasseled decoration at sides.
