Object Description
Cotton woven cloth is made of 14 narrow strips, each approx. 11 to 11.5 cm. wide; unbalanced palin weave, slightly warp-faced. Warps: Z spun singles, handspun; natural undyed with two tones of indigo dyed blue; 10-11 warps/p/cm in undyed warp regions; 14-15 warps/p/cm in blue dyed warp regions; with warps blue and natural, the cloth design is striped (vertically). Wefts: Z spun singles, handspun, all natural (undyed); 10-12 wefts/p/cm; stitching thread: 3 ply S handspun cotton; upper and lower edges are hem stitched with same 3 ply S cotton
