Object Description Tapa cloth section is from a much larger cloth. Cloth appears to be Tongan or Samoan, decorated by rubbing over kupeti or relief design patterns in a matte red-brown paint. Cloth is 4 lalanga long with the typical wide minimally painted areas (tapa) at the sides. Additional object description notes under Conservation.
