Object Description
Sand painting - length 30.5 cm., width 15.2 cm. Painting applied to plywood. Note attached to [illegible word] reads "Female Camel, Annie Yazzie, Sheep Spring, N.M." Outline drawing of figure, full frontal face with headdress, arms stretched to left holding large arrow. Shield-like object attached to right side of body with attached "feathers". Divided skirt tied with sash at the end of long body. Matching earrings and necklace. Elongated neck with black hortizontal bands. Decorated body. Perhaps one of a pair, see sandpainting cat. no.
