Object Description
Sand painting. 30.5 cm in length and 15 cm in width. Painting applied to plywood. Note attached reads "Female Camel, Annie Yazzie, Sheep Spring, N.M." Outline drawing of figure, full frontal face with headdress, arms stretched to right with large arrow. Shield-like object with "feathers" attached to left side of body. Divided skirt tied with sash at long body. Matching earrings and necklace. Elongated neck with hortizontal bands. Decorated body. Perhaps one of a pair (see sandpainting co. #...)
