Object Description
Fifty-one (51) mounted albumen prints. Subjects include identified and unidentified individual and group portraits of Native Americans (including Sitting Bull and Ramona). Also included are views of Native American Indian schools (St George's and the Unitarian School in Montana). Additional views of homes, boats, bull wagon, and Mr. Dorchester (see donor information). Cultural affiliations include; Apache, Arapahoe, Havasupai, Isleta, Jicarrilla, Kansa (Kaw), Mescalero, Mojave, Nez Perce, Osage, Papago, Pawnee, Pima, Pueblo, Taos, and Zuni.
