Quill-decorated birch bark basket with lid; moose motif

Object Description
Oval bent birch bark basket with flat lid. Lid trimmed with moose design in brown, red, and green porcupine quills. Basket trimmed with abstract design in blue and pink quills. Bundles of sweet grass sewn with black thread were coiled to make sides of lid, and attached to basket rim, just below rim (lid rest), and around bottom.
Dimensions: height with lid = 7 cm, length = 18.2 cm, width = 10.4 cm.
