Object Description
Round bent birch bark lidded basket almost completely covered with decorative porcupine quillwork. Flowering plant in purple, yellow, brown, and green on lid, undyed porcupine quills (white grading to brown) on sides of basket and lid. Rims of basket and lid reinforced with bundles of sweet grass, sewn on with white cotton thread. "M. A." engraved on bottom.
Dimensions: height with lid = 4.6 cm, height to rim = 4 cm, diameter = 5.4 cm.
