Object Description Jar of hominy corn, heh-go-wa. To illustrate preparation of corn food among Seneca Indians of Cattarangus Reservation, New York. Both white and varigated corn is used for hominy. Jar with rounded base filled with kernels of hominy corn; cork at top bears the number 62618. The catalog number is written directly onto the cork stopper in black ink.
