Object Description Uruk Plum-Slipped Ware - plum-slipped globular jar. Exterior, plum slip flaking off, matt, fugitive, put on before firing. (cf. S10 368). Core, light buff, small chaff inclusions (1-3 mm) , vert soft. Interior, light buff, matt. Handmade. Body sherd, shoulder piece of a flattened globular shape. Th: 5 mm. (Donald Hansen says this is identical to type from late Uruk through Jemdet Nasr at Nippur).
